I made some desperate investigations and discovered Voco was the one who sent the robbers." Peter stared at Jinx, who had walked to a broken couch and sat down, a small, terrifying smile settling on her face, perfectly concealing the raging, focused killing intent that now pulsed beneath her skin.
"Okay, Peter... You know where he is, right?" she asked, her voice still unnervingly calm.
"Yes. He is the chief of this village. He’s untouchable here," Peter answered with a rigid nod.
"Okay... Is that why you moved everyone here? To be closer to him?" Jinx asked, moving her gaze to Lina.
"Yes," Peter confirmed. He added, his voice hardening with youthful resolve: "We wanted to have more money, so we can afford to avenge Gina."
"Why didn’t you reach out to me? That was five months ago," Jinx asked, a slight frown finally creasing her face. The idea that her family had suffered in silence was a bitter pill.

"Two months ago, we made enough money and sent a messenger drone to your last coordinates, but found out all the headquarters was destroyed, and Star Nation soldiers were all over the place."work. "It won’t be that easy," Jinx countered, shaking her head. "This Voco seems like some dirtbag I’d dealt with in the past. They won’t back down easily, and innocent people will surely get caught in the fire."
