Chapter 744 Impossible
Chapter 744 Impossible
(Cervantez's POV)Even with his regressor memory, there were certain things in Terra Nova that Cervantez considered to be utterly impossible.
One of those was a player ever reaching the Level 1000 milestone, and the other was a player acquiring the [Divine] skill, [Future Sight].
Mathematically, reaching Level 1000 was an insurmountable feat for any single player. Yet, defying every law of common sense and probability, TheBoss stood on the cusp of that legendary milestone, with many months of game-time to spare, virtually assuring that he would somehow make it.
It was a feat that was not just exceptional, but also simply unrepeatable, as there was not one player in the universe who could do what 'TheBoss' did.
However, having witnessed TheBoss's exploits first hand, Cervantez could somehow still grasp, at least in part, the reasons behind him becoming level 1000.
But even now, despite everything he knew, Cervantez couldn't begin to comprehend how Leo had managed to acquire [Future Sight].
[Future Sight] was a move that was supposed to be impossible to master for anyone under the [Transcendent] realm, it was rumoured that even if one did find the skill scroll for the move, it was impossible to grasp the skill at the current level of players and even 'TheBoss' was no exception.
Being only a 'Master' level fighter, 'TheBoss' still had a long way to go before he became a transcendent level figure, which was why Cervantez could not wrap his head around how or why Leo could allegedly perform the move.
"No… it's impossible for someone to learn future sight, it can't be… but I also saw him pausing right before he killed Tor, it can't be a coincidence either.
So what's the deal with 'TheBoss' and his powers?" Cervantez wondered, as he bit his lip and thought about all the times where 'TheBoss' displayed abilities that he wasn't supposed to show.
'TheBoss' could somehow replicate any move that he witnessed being cast and Cervantez wondered if he saw someone using [Future Sight] and somehow learnt how to replicate it, even if doing so to a lesser extent.
"No… that's not possible either, there are no transcendent level figures in the world of Terra Nova. It's impossible he picked it from someone else using that move…." Cervantez murmured, as his inability to deduce the source of Leo's unexplained ability caused him to panic.
As per his memories, the skill scroll for [Future Sight] was last seen in possession of a brave NPC sailor 250 years ago within the game world, who tried to sail beyond the storms and try find new lands by relying on future sight to avoid danger.
While it's unknown if he succeeded or failed as per game lore, however, what is known is that he was the last known man in possession of that scroll, with many believing that it's now at the bottom of an ocean within a shipwreck, in the world's most dangerous waters.
"That's the last known place for the divine scroll, and I am sure that the uprising have not actively
As a master warrior, her power, precision and skill control was vastly superior to her peers and it showed in the way she fought, with no-one being able to stop her fury.
"The enemy is overwhelming us! Retreat! All DarkSky troops pull back…. We cannot defeat them here–" A captain shouted eventually, as just a mere hour after PinkLotus and Luke joined the fray, the DarkSky guild ordered a retreat of their frontal troops, ordering them to come back into the safety of the city through the hole that the WhiteSabers had created in the city walls.
It was a clear change in tides, and against all odds it seemed like the WhiteSabers now had an upper hand in this war.
